Here is our Story
My Grandfather, Dudley E. Marvin was born on July 26, 1920.
He was a Wise Man
He lived a long life, and he learned many things. Along the way, he met a number of interesting people. They helped him. He helped them. He never asked for anything in return.
With our family, he shared a many great stories, and taught us a lot of lessons. But he also believed that sometimes- some lessons, some stories- sould not be told. They would be better if we heard it from someone else, or we figured them out our self.
Like a lot of Grandpas, he never wanted any credit, and he never asked for anything in return. He just wanted to live a good life, and he wanted the world to be a better place.
As for me, I learned a lot from Grandpa (Grandma Too!)
I had a lot of fun with him. He taught me to bowl, he tried to teach me to golf. He taught me to play cards. He told me to stay true to my self, take care of my family, help other people, to work hard, to always to do the right thing, and whatever I did, to do it to the best of my abilities, and to do it with the best Intentions.
In his final years, He told me that he had an idea. and He wanted Me to tell him what I thought! He knew that our family worried about a lot. We worried about things that we couldn't even control. That made him sad, and it had him worried. He wanted everybody to know, any of us could tell him anything they were worried about. He said that he was willing to listen, and
He would worry about it for them.

Thank you for listening,
